Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales, the Director of Sales, EDU/NPO will have full ownership and responsibility for managing EDU sales activities. This individual will ensure the achievement of significant new customer revenue growth targets that support the company’s objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic market within the higher education and K12 space.  We seek an outstanding and experienced sales leader who will develop and execute a multi-faceted sales strategy to gain market share and build the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. You excel in building high performance sales teams and instituting “best of breed” inside sales processes.  You are skilled in delivering leverage between inside sales, online sales and marketing, and marketing campaign strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership, vision, and direction for the EDU sales organization
  • Architect, implement, and execute on an overarching sales strategy and vision for rapid revenue generation and new customer acquisition expanding our market share
  • Build and lead a high performing sales team
  • Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition and financial performance targets
  • Track and analyze sales activities to understand and capitalize on buying trends and patterns
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Duo Security solutions while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Establish policies, processes, and procedures that will ensure revenue growth
  • Lead and manage partner relationships as they relate to the EDU business



  • Innovative and results driven senior sales executive with 5+ years of SaaS experience with 10+ years of sales experience
  • Must have a proven track record of success, driving revenue growth against quota, and increased profitability in the SaaS industry
  • Must have deep experience in inside sales best practices and building, coaching and mentoring EDU sales teams
  • Experience leading sales organizations in a EDU focused, high volume model
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline development and management
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed with a passion to succeed
  • A creative, out of the box thinker  
  • Must be analytical and metrics driven through all stages of the sales cycle
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related discipline  
  • Experience in establishing, working with and optimizing partner relationships
