Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales, the Director, Federal Sales will have full ownership and responsibility for managing Federal sales activities. This individual will ensure the achievement of significant new customer revenue growth targets that support the company’s objectives in a fast-paced and dynamic market within the Federal space.  We seek an outstanding and experienced sales leader who will develop and execute a multi-faceted sales strategy to gain market share and build the highest levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide strong leadership, vision, and direction for the Federal sales organization
  • Architect, implement, and execute on an overarching sales strategy and vision for rapid revenue generation and new customer acquisition expanding our market share
  • Build and lead a high performing sales team
  • Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition and financial performance targets
  • Track and analyze sales activities to understand and capitalize on buying trends and patterns
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Duo Security solutions while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Establish policies, processes, and procedures that will ensure revenue growth
  • Lead and manage partner relationships as they relate to the Federal business
  • Work with Federal partners and support the marketing team with Federal campaigns
  • Attend industry events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on government opportunities and market trends
  • Demonstrate and present the Duo Security user experience via live web based demos

 

Requirements

  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Sales plus Technical background a plus
  • Requires 10+ years of successful Federal Government technology sales experience
  • Strong understanding of Government procurement process, GSA schedule and GWACs
  • Demonstrate a strong existing network of government acquisitions and decision-making personnel
  • Experience leading sales organizations in a focused, high volume model
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Experience with using Salesforce.com
  • Active or current US Government security clearance
  • Sales Experience in the Information Security market preferred
  • Sales experience in the SaaS based product market preferred
