For the first episode of the Decipher podcast, editors Dennis Fisher and Fahmida Rashid previewed this year's Black Hat USA conference and discussed which talks they're most interested in seeing. The conference lineup is one of the more interesting we've had in the last few years, and some of the highlights include the opening keynote by Google's Parisa Tabriz, a discussion by two NSA employees of how stress can affect the operational security of hackers, and a number of talks on mental health and wellness issues.
