Security B-Sides Detroit 2013: Great Success!

We aren't shocked that the Duo team had an amazing time.

We're not surprised that the speakers were informative and the volunteers were gracious. We expected the lively conversations between sessions. But to say that B-Sides Detroit 2013 was "just another year" wouldn't be fair—it was a stellar year for the event and all involved.

Those on our staff who hadn't been to a security conference before found the variety and depth of topics enlightening—and found they were beginning to understand the paranoia that grips the security community at times! Events like B-Sides are an amazing place for those on the edge of technical knowledge to get thrown into the deep end (lovingly of course!) and enjoy every second of it.

We were happy to have a chance to interact with so many people and discuss what we're up to here at Duo. Please feel free to sign-up for a free trial and reach out if you have any questions on how to make the most out of two-factor authentication!

B-sides Detroit is special to be sure. It was our pleasure to be a sponsor and participate. We all look forward to next year's event.

Do you have an event in the information security community coming up? We're love to hear about it! Let us know in the comments and maybe we'll see you there.
