A security token (also referred to as a hardware token) is a small hardware device carried by a user to authorize access to a network service. The device may be in the form of a smart card or may be embedded in a key fob.
We support USB devices, created by Yubico that you can automatically generate and submit a one-time password into a text field validated by Duo. Duo also supports any OATH HOTP-compatible tokens.

Due to security reasons, Duo hardware token orders may not be cancelled, suspended, changed or returned. This includes changes to delivery location or quantity. Hardware tokens cannot be returned except pursuant to warranties.
Duo also supports third-party hardware tokens, such as YubiKeys or any OATH HOTP-compatible tokens. Third-party hardware tokens can be imported into the system by an administrator.
Yes. Duo’s D-100 tokens are $20 each and have an expected minimum battery lifetime of 2 years. They are only available in increments of 10. You can purchase tokens from the Duo Admin Panel.
