What says “summer is here” better than a barbecue dinner with friends? Duo Security invites you to join us for a virtual barbeque dinner with Dr. BBQ Ray Lampe on Thursday, July 15.
Duo made its name as the Most Loved Security Company by providing MFA and zero-trust security solutions which are easy to adopt and deploy. Now we aim to provide a little summer fun to your life with a live, interactive BBQ experience with Ray Lampe!
Few people in this world have as many barbecue accolades as Ray Lampe. He’s cooked in over 300 BBQ contests, won over 300 awards, was inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame, and opened “Dr. BBQ’s” restaurant with Roger and Suzanne Perry in 2018. He also acts as an expert judge on numerous cooking shows, including “Smoked,” the Food Network’s “Chopped” and “Tailgate Warriors with Guy Fieri,” and the Travel Channel’s “American Grilled.”
It’s safe to say that if you enjoy a good barbecue, this is the event for you! So join us on July 15 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET with your camera on, questions ready, and with a hearty appetite! We’ll start off with a brief introduction by Duo, and then we’ll dive into our session with Ray. We look forward to enjoying some delicious barbecue with you then!

Ray Lampe grew up in Chicago and after high school spent 25 years in the family trucking business. In 2000 the trucking business had run its course, and it was time for Ray to try something new. He had been participating in BBQ cookoffs as a hobby since 1982, so he decided to take a leap and turn his hobby into a career. In 2000 Ray moved to Florida and began his career as an outdoor cooking expert. In 2018 Ray opened “Dr. BBQ’s” restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Florida with Roger and Suzanne Perry.
Other BBQ accomplishments: Ray served as Executive Chef at Southern Hospitality BBQ in NY. In 2014, he was inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame. He's has written nine cookbooks and is currently working on his tenth, and he’s cooked in over 300 BBQ contests and won over 300 awards.
TV appearances: Ray is a judge on the Food Network’s “Firemasters," and he's an expert judge on the Food Network's "Chopped," the show “Smoked,” the Travel Channel's "American Grilled," and the Food Network's “Tailgate Warriors with Guy Fieri.” He's a featured Pro-Chef on NBC's "Food Fighters," is featured on the Food Network’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” and is a contestant on the Food Network Special “Chopped Grillmasters.”
Spokesman positions: He's also currently the spokesman for the National Turkey federation and the Dizzy Pig Seasoning Company, and he's been the spokesman for the Big Green Egg Grill, Cabo Wabo Tequila, the Kansas City Steak Company, and The National Pork Board.
