WCAPS CETWG is excited to announce a special two-part series on how to share your experience and expertise through conference speaking! Each of you have valuable experiences and perspectives that you should share with the industry. Join CETWG and Wendy Nather, Head of Advisory CISOs at Duo Security (now part of Cisco) to learn or enhance your professional toolkit.

Session one will focus on writing an effective and eye-catching response to a call for proposals (CFP). Conference organizers receive so many submissions that you have to standout with a clear demonstration of your expertise, a unique perspective, and an eye-catching title and description. We want to help you put that into your submission!

While Wendy is a recovering CISO, she is heavily active in the cybersecurity community as a conference speaker, influencer, and mentor; an avid security advocate; board member of Sightline Security; and is a current CETWG member. Most importantly, Wendy has extensive experience with conference submissions as an advisory board member for the RSA Conference (including reviewing speaker submissions), the Black Hat CISO Summit, USENIX’s Enigma Conference, and various B-Sides, and is a frequent speaker at many other industry conferences.

We are thrilled that she is sharing her extensive knowledge with us and appreciative of her time to share with us best practices on writing a successful CFP submission. Keep an eye out for a follow up session on crafting and delivering the talk once your submission is selected!

Before the 2020 conference season commences, sign up for the first part of the series:
