Duo's Wine and Cheese Session & Window on German Wine with Anne Krebiehl MW

Join Duo, along with Master of Wine Anne Krebiehl, for a one-of-a-kind virtual wine and cheese tasting experience! For this event:

  • Duo will send a sampling of wine, cheeses, bread, and meats or veggies (your choice) straight to your home!
  • You'll tune into Webex for a brief introduction by Duo, followed by a live, interactive tasting lesson right from Anne’s home.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to simply relax and enjoy the delicious snacks and drinks and take in your new wine knowledge!

Prior to the delicious evening, Duo will ship the complimentary wine & snacks directly to your home. Presentation topics will include real background on Germany’s exciting contemporary wine scene, while you sip and explore and snack on delish goodies. The day of, you’ll sign into Webex for a brief introduction, and then dive into Anne’s live tasting lesson. Attendees of this fantastic event will be able to engage and interact with their peers and with Anne directly to make use of all her expertise.

Presenter Info

Anne Krebiehl

German-born but London-based, Anne Krebiehl MW is a widely published freelance wine writer and lecturer. Poised to take over a new editing role, until late 2020, she was the contributing editor for Austria, Alsace, Burgundy and England for US Wine Enthusiast Magazine and wrote for trade and consumer publications like The World of Fine Wine, Decanter and She lectures, particularly on German wine, judges international wine competitions and is a panel chair at the International Wine Challenge. She completed her WSET Diploma in 2010 and was admitted to the Institute of Masters of Wine in September 2014. She loves high-acid wines and her work often focuses on Pinot Noir, Riesling and traditional method sparkling wines. She has harvested and helped to make wine in New Zealand, Germany and Italy. Her first book, The Wines of Germany, published in Infinite Ideas’ Classic Wine Library, appeared in September 2019 and won the Domaine Faiveley International Wine Book Of The Year 2020 award at the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards. In her own time, Anne loves to swim, garden and entertain.
