Duo Security, a leading authentication solutions provider, announces a nearly 200 percent increase in revenue and significant customer growth, including large enterprises such as Zillow, TripAdvisor, Dresser-Rand Group, K-Swiss, and SuddenLink.
Duo’s growth has been fueled by increased awareness that two-factor authentication is one of the most impactful security controls that can be deployed to prevent data breaches. In 2014, Duo focused on delivering product enhancements that save time and empower both administrators and end users, especially at larger organizations.
In October, Duo released API Edition, which enables developers to add two-factor authentication to web or mobile applications with as few as ten lines of code. The company also substantially expanded its customer support organization to provide more assistance to all customers, including dedicated representatives for enterprise customers.
“We are disrupting the traditional security market by making it easy for enterprises of any size or expertise to implement best practices in security,” said Dug Song, Duo Security’s CEO. “We’re seeing more and more companies get proactive about security, and they need to do so. With an increasing number of breaches happening in nearly every industry, strong authentication is a must.”
To accommodate this year’s rapid growth, Duo Security has moved its headquarters to a larger, more collaborative open working space located in downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. Continuing expansion nationwide, new Duo employees are located throughout the country in addition to its Ann Arbor headquarters.
Duo plans to continue its rapid growth in 2015 through continued innovation, new product offerings, and international expansion.
