Duo Product Updates: In Constant Pursuit of Simpler Authentication
Two-factor Deployment Just Got a Little Easier
We know your time is precious - so here at Duo, our goal is to make your job just a little easier. That’s why we’ve added Duo Push for Admins, giving administrators the ability to authenticate when managing a deployment, using the form of two-factor favored by some of the most security-conscious organizations on the planet. When it comes to our enrollment process, we’ve always made simplicity a priority… and now it’s easier than ever. Duo's updated enrollment module provides a more intuitive interface, with new functionality including bulk enrollment, self-service, and the ability for users to enroll numberless devices like tablets. Work Smarter with Enhanced Controls
Control is a pretty great thing to have, particularly when it comes to enforcing administrative policy. Duo’s new administrative settings grant you increased flexibility and customization, with greater control over your users’ two-factor experience. On that note, we think you might appreciate Duo’s Trusted Devices and Trusted Networks features, which enables administrators to set a streamlined login experience for users to choose “remember my computer” or “keep me logged in” when accessing web applications. This allows them to bypass the second factor of authentication for a designated period of time - a feature that adds ease of login for all of our web-based integrations, now with newly added Unix support.
Know You’re Covered with Ever-Expanding Support
At Duo Security we’re all about democratizing two factor authentication. That’s why we offer extensive support for a remarkably wide range of devices, platforms and applications. In addition to Android, iOS, and Windows Phone, Duo now supports Blackberry 10 OS. With comprehensive mobile support, the Duo platform enables you to use whatever device you please and still have the confidence of the world’s strongest two-factor authentication technology. Duo is also pleased to announce that our platform now supports NetMotion Wireless, providers of mobile VPN used by municipal fire and police professionals in the field. The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) division of the FBI mandates that municipalities must soon meet multi-factor authentication requirements - and the flexibility afforded by Duo's NetMotion integration offers the ideal solution for their needs.
